First, it was New York City’s Lower East Side. When she decided to do her thing in Long Beach, we were ready—all we needed were her prints.
Well, her prints are in.
You’ve followed the amazing journey of Hedy Page through my essays from, Not even Nazis Could Dim Hedy’s Halo. through These Others, Their Love, Their Laughter to Eric Couldn’t Be Near Hate; He Said it Was Infectious.
Finally, the limited edition prints of Hedy Page’s ninety-third and final painting are ready for sale.
Artists in Partnership sent me this notification:
Dear friend of artist, Hedy Page,
You are invited to join Hedy Page, her family, and members of Artists in Partnership, Inc. on Sunday, December 22nd from 2-4:00 at AIP’s shared workspace, 670 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, NY- (office building across from Bridgeworks), for a holiday get together. Crafts, Cookies, Cider and Community- oh my!
This is your opportunity to meet the artist, Hedy Page, to reconnect, and to view her most recent painting, “Eric’s Full Circle Legacy”, a tribute to her late husband’s request that she create a painting that would recognize acts of kindness and the community members whose life actions are, or were, a reflection of that. The paint has dried on Hedy’s final oil painting, and 100 limited edition numbered and artist-signed prints will be packed and available for purchase.
Eric’s Full Circle Legacy is printed on watercolor finish paper and measures 26″ x 21″ with borders (actual print size is 22″ x 17″). This first run of limited edition prints are priced at $200 each plus tax ($17.26). If required, shipping and handling fees for online orders will be an additional $18.
Proceeds from the sale of prints will be directed to Artists in Partnership, Inc.’s, “Good Works Fund” which is being established to provide seed money to community organizations and individuals who strive to create cultural arts programs that encourage kindness, understanding and community.
Please email us at aip4arts@gmail.com to RSVP if you will be attending. Also, indicate if you are interested in purchasing and picking up one of the Limited Edition Prints at the event. We will be accepting CASH or CHECKS ONLY.
Please visit Artists in Partnership for additional information.
SPECIAL REQUEST: During this season of giving, we are requesting that attendees bring with them Non-Perishable food items to be distributed to organizations in the Long Beach community. Boxes will be set up in the Lobby area. Attached, please find a list of requested items.
Thank you!
