Sunday, Ophelia pelted our shore—but our condo was becoming a bore.
I usually don’t take pics in rain; my camera cost too much—and I’m not insane.
I had rainwear for me—and my new—Nikon Z. But I had no cloth to dry the lens you see.
The sideways rain could get into the hood, but I’d just have to do the best I could.
Brave souls walked…
…and jogged…
…and biked. The brave always did just as they liked
The surf was high but no surfer did I spy:
One surveyed the sea, but venture out? “Not me.”
A detectorist searched the sand, but when I asked his luck—he just waved his hand.
Some had their love to keep warm and dry.
They even paused to just say Hi.
At Lazar’s Glizzy, I was all alone; not a good day for ice an cream cone.
Pete Sengenberger’s tables held the water off fine. Under the sun tomorrow, we’ll be able to dine.
I captured some splashes rise…
…and fall…
So it wasn’t really a bad day at all:
Be well,
Leebythesea

What a wonderful blog Lee! You showed how much you and your neighbors love your boardwalk even when it’s nasty outside!
